Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. (Malachi 3:10)
God stirred up my heart in 2016, a need to help children receive basic needs to live — food, clothing, shelter, and most importantly, the love of Christ. It wasn’t until 2018, when I took a trip to the Philippines, that I realized exactly where, what, and how. During this trip, my twin sister and I were introduced to a beautiful spirit, Millie Kalayko, the founder and CEO of NVC —Negrense Volunteers for Change. Millie explained to us the fulfillment of meals to children in need not just for nutrition but for sustenance. They had a dehydrator for fruits and vegetables, and a packing machine that could not keep up for the need of children on the “Love Trail” (see photo).
Their philosophy moved me to action, and I pray it does the same for you.
“The great little thing a lamp can do with the big son cannot do, is to give light at night. It shows no one is superior by size but by purpose. If we cannot do great things, we can do small things and a great way. Little things make a big difference to God.”
Malachi Legacy Fund was founded in 2018 and has since raised tens of thousands of dollars to fulfill the calling God planet in my heart back in 2016 —to bless 1 million children and beyond. We are well on our way to fulfill this mission and I pray you too can be a small part of this BIG dream by doing small things in a great way!
Thank you in advance for your servant heart of giving. God bless you.
